Day 25 22.3.23 Franz Josef

Overnight temperature dropped to 6°, feels like 3, but we were snug as a bug.

Off to do some more walks.

Views were much clearer today.








Back in town to do another short walk.




We finally got the call to say we can do the heli-hike tomorrow morning. Eek, I'm nervously excited. I've never been in a helicopter or on ice/snow before. 
The view out of the bedroom window this afternoon. After repacking our cases & organising tomorrow nights accommodation we went for a wander around the van park and found the most amazing views. 
I can't get enough of these views.

Ended up going in to town for a coffee. Trying to use up the last of our coins before we head back to the land of OZ in a few days.
