Day 5 Queenstown 2.3.23

We borrowed the Rav 4 again today and drove to Glenorchy, which is still beside Lake Wakatipu but is 47 undulating and winding kms away.

If you zoom in, on the right hand mountain you'll see snow.

On the way to Glenorchy.

On to Glenorchy ⬇️

Lovely stone and wood house for sale.

We had lunch at the pub.

House ruins.

Grabbed a few groceries to tie us over for the next couple of nights dinners and went home for a relax. We drove 110kms today.
Andrea and I walked part of the Frankton trail this afternoon, beside Lake Wakatipu, 4.44km. The temperature got up to 24°

I have been doing a lot of 'plotting and scheming ' this afternoon and have booked a soak in the hot pools for our last day in Queenstown.  I've also booked a 3 night stay on the west coast and a hike on a glacier.
