Day 8 Queenstown 5.3.23

Our last day in Queenstown. After a very late night with lots of 🥂 we all had a massive sleep in until 8am.

We borrowed the Rav 4 again and headed just out of town to the Onsen Hot Pools, 7.5kms away.

The on line blurb for our hot pool. It cost $230NZD for 4 people for an hour.
View of the Shotover River from the hot tub.

We were given a drink 🥂 and Whittaker chocolate or icecream to enjoy while relaxing.

The obligatory selfies.

Wandered down the street and found a beautiful spot for lunch at Cargo Gantley's Pub.

The meals were delicious and fresh. Marks wood fired roast lamb melted in your mouth.
I spotted snow again.

Our afternoon was spent washing and packing our bags ready to start riding on the Otago Rail Trail.

We emptied out the fridges for dinner and had just the right amount of food left. We have 4 apples left for breakfast.

Today's top temperature was 14°
