Day 10 7.3.23 Oturehua

A few pics of the lovely cottage we stayed in. It was the old stables for the bakery.

The doorway was 2 sleepers thick.

And we're off on the bikes again.

Poolburn gorge.

Tunnelers camp

Hayes engineering cafe for lunch.

Our BnB accommodation for the night

Bikes being charged up.
We're in a big rose growing area.
We're staying at an old mill.

Wedderburn tavern for dinner.

Lounge area where we sat and chatted for ages.

The Cider comes in pints in NZ.

Today we rode 34kms.
Our hostess made us very welcome. She booked us a table at the Wedderburn hotel and drove us there. The pub staff were very attentive, often asking if we were OK. They gave us a lift home. The pub was about 13kms away so just a bit far away to walk.
