Our obligatory start of the day photo.

The rain was all around us.
Cow hides.

The rain caught up to us and didn't stop until we got to Hyde.

The hotel was closed so we missed out on our morning coffee.
These toilets popped up randomly along the trail.

Hiding out of the rain.

Looking down the gorge.

Still hiding from the rain in the next different shed.

Today we got very wet & found nowhere to have anything to eat along the trail as they had closed down. It was lucky I had a few snacks in my pannier which we all ate while trying to drying out. About 1pm the sun finally came out and the temperature got to 23° and we rode 42kms, taking the total to 167kms.
We had pre booked our dinner with Sarah,  our hostess and our lamb shanks were absolutely delicious.
Someone had a snooze before dinner.
