Day 14 11.3.23 Dunedin

12° overnight.  Every place we have slept has been very warm inside. We have kicked all the blankets off each night so far.

Went out exploring on foot. **MEGA LOAD OF PHOTOS TODAY **

Albatross flying through the carpark.

I love looking at old buildings.

We decided to do a tour of the old Dunedin Gaol. $15 each. Tour lasted an hour and was really informative.

Police holding cell.

Solitary confinement exercise yard.
Birds are an issue.

Those thrown in jail for the night  were given 1 blanket
Or a night shirt.
They slept on a cement slab.
Lots of story boards.

Art/graffiti in one of the cells.

Poor woman,  sentenced twice!

If you got this far well done. We had a busy day exploring.
We moved on to the settler's museum.

There was a huge gallery full of portraits.

I lost Mark for awhile.

After that huge morning it was time to find somewhere for lunch.
We chose the Cobb n Co restaurant.  The meals were delicious.
Then we were off to check out the train station and art gallery.

Knox Church was hard to photograph due to roadworks in the way.

Mural on the wall of where we are staying.
The Leyland car club were coming back in as we got back from a walk.

Today we walked over 11kms and we decided on a quiet night in.
The temperature got to 21°

If you have got through to the end very well done. That was way too many photos 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
